Description: Anger is the vice that kills. The prophet Moses was prone to fits of rage. The mythic warriors of Sparta meditated in order to banish anger before a battle. Italian writer Dante placed those that committed the vice of anger in the "Fourth Circle of Hell," tearing each other limb from limb for eternity.
Your job: Describe the character that most closely exhibits this trait in A Christmas Carol and give evidence to support your judgement.

In the book "A Christmas Carol," the character who shows the most anger I believe would Scrooge. The definition of anger is a strong feeling of displeasure or hostility. In this novella he shows much anger. One of the things he often does that resembles anger is responding to things with "Bah humbug." He also shows anger by refusing to offer money for the poor and stating that they shall be sent to prisons or union houses.
In the story of," A Christmas Carol", Scrooge's worst trait was anger.Whenever someone tryed to bring happiness in his life, Scrooge would always turn them down. Since Scrooge had so much emotion build up inside, he showed anger. For an example, when a caroler came to Scrooges door he opened it and said,"Pooh,Pooh!" and closed the door with a bang. I think ever since his old friend Marley died he felt he had no reason to be merry. By the end of the story I think Scrooge's anger will go away.
Namit6-- I disagree with you because refusing to give to the poor is not being angery, that is selfishness. Also, "Bah humbug" means nonsence, and when someone says something is nonsence they mean that they disagree with the importance of the subject. Anger would show someone, Scrooge for instance, being clearly mad and upset at something or someone.

I there is plenty of anger in this story. Scrooge showed his anger when his uncle invited him over for the Christmas party and Scrooge was going of, "Humbug." He didn't even want to spend time with his family. Scrooge has many anger filled moments, but this is just one of them!
I the story A Christmas Carol I think Scrooge has the most anger. Scrooge refuses to be with family on Christmas. He also has no Christams cheer. He shows most hostility toward Christmas.
I agree with Namit6 because Scrooge shows alot of anger in this book. Scrooge doesn't give any money to the poor and gets very very angry at the men who asked for a small donation. Scrooge also always gets angry at his clerk.
In the story "A Christmas Carol" the character that shows anger the most is Scooge. I know this because in different parts he shows it. For example when his nephew was saying merry christmas to him he got angry and began raising his voice without control.
I think that Scrooge most closely exhibits anger in this book. Anger means displeasure, and Scrooge is always displeasured about something. He is very displeasured when he sees carolers and men come to his work and ask him for money.
